Culture change has long been the stuff of hocus pocus and black magic. Many people talk about it, but it seems difficult to find real success stories because the levers of success are less than obvious. What is known is that a direct assault on culture doesn't work; you don't alter behavior by publishing new values and running workshops on the new expected behaviors. It's been tried and it never works. Culture is not the result of new talk. Cultural change is the result of new actions, routines, roles, and expectations for specific and defined actions. Our boy MrMehster is back with a new original track, and this one is quite unique and enthralling! Themed around the Ursa Major from the MLP lore, it takes us on a trancey journey and lets us feel inner peace through the beautiful World Music melodies, intricate Psytrance tribal vocals, and hard bass, to find our Spirit Animal... Inspired to make a Psytrance track, shining star MrMehster has fittingly associated the tribal elements of the genre with the Ursa Major from MLP, and crafted this stunning and unique gem full of personality and flavor. Here's some backstory on the track from the musician: "Psytrance picked up in late 2017. I first heard a few tracks from other EDM producers, and I thought hey, this sounded cool, why not give it a shot. As for why I chose the bear, that's because not many songs have the Ursa Major in them, and psytrance tracks revolve around tribal elements and the like. It's killing two birds with one stone. I get to try a new genre and about a character/enemy (?) that's not portrayed often!" That was definitely an awesome idea, and with such a unique alchemy of both instrumental and vocal greatness, "SP1RIT ANIMAL" is sure to remain a timeless token of ingenuity, talent and passion! Internal tensions, shaky loyalties, and good old fashioned human frailty however ensures that this family is nothing if not dysfunctional, and time and again its proven the younger generation can make the same mistakes as any adult might. But likewise they show the same virtues as well, the same ingenuity, and the same courage. - The Tribe has been emulated several times, most notably in my favorite show, the criminally underrated Jeremiah.

Inuit continue to have a deep respect and spiritual connection with the land and its resources. The Tuktu documentary series was produced by the National Film Board of Canada between 1966 and 1968. Now Management System | 10 Keys | Mass Ingenuity http://www.massingenuity.com/?p=5179 This is the tenth and final installment in a series on organizational culture, its role, how it is shaped, and how it can be changed. The structures and processes of an organization's management system is what shapes these factors more than anything else, and so when the management system is changed, the culture changes. This assumes the leaders of the organization are serious about the changes they are making, and work hard to be models of the new ways. Here are 10 things to remember as you think about organizational culture, its role, how it is shaped, and how it can be changed: Culture is the great lever of organizational change Culture determines if a given change will be accepted or rejected Today's economic world demands organizations move quickly The speed of an organization is governed by the speed of decision making Your management system defines your decision making strategy and quality A culture that moves decisions to where the knowledge is greatest, which is the front line, will make the fastest and best decisions To set people up for success in their decision making, management has a lot of work to do in advance Leaders have to accept that change is now the constant, and the only way to keep people is to let go of centralized control Culture change is much more readily accepted when people gain control not lose it More than any other thing, changing the management system causes the biggest shift in organizational culture One of the biggest surprises for me in learning about organization development has been understanding the relationship between the complex nature of human beings, and the work they do. What I have learned is that mechanical things such a strong, healthy, and structured business reviews can have profound impact on cultural components such as human beliefs, behaviors, and trust. The better we understand the interplay between structured management processes and human behavior, the more control we have in shaping culture. Culture does not have to be the accident accumulation of unspoken norms and behaviors. It can and should be intentional. Thanks for joining me in this series on culture. http://youtu.be/vo_QqJ5G9xs Mass Ingenuity 5331 SW Macadam Ave., Suite 122 Portland, OR 97239 Phone (503) 705-6920

Following the rising profile of Bayelsa State as the leading tourist destination in Nigeria, the World Fashion Organisation is to build its Fashion University in the state. The establishment of the proposed Fashion University will make the State one of the beneficiaries of such institutions to be built in the six continents of the world. Speaking on the theme, 'the Journey So Far in Nigeria,' the Vice President of the World Fashion Organization, Europe, Mr. Borgogelli Percario said the choice of Bayelsa for sitting the fashion university was based on the state's peaceful ambience and favourable disposition to the development of the arts. The event, which attracted international fashion designers and personalities in the fashion industry, created excitement and investment interest among indigenes of the state and visitors alike. In her welcome address, the Patron of the World Fashion Organisation Africa, Dr. Merit Gordon Obua, said though African designs were making waves in the western world in view of the ingenuity of the designers, the Fashion reception hosted by Bayelsa was not targeted as an entertainment event only but about showcasing the business and investment opportunities available in the country. According to Obua, the approval by the World Fashion Organisation for a Fashion University to be built in Bayelsa was not without struggle as it was expected that the University will be used to fight poverty through the training and empowerment of youths to be independent entrepreneurs. "This event is a project targeted at promoting the investment opportunity available in Africa. The event is to exchange ideas to fight poverty. Indonesia was like that and they used Fashion to change their story. India used fashion to add over 4 per cent to their GDP", she said.

Dutdutan 2017 Bikini Open held at Worl Trade Center Sept 2, 2017 A celebration of art and ink. Dutdutan 2017 is currently the nation’s biggest and grandest annual tattoo exposition, presented by Tribal Gear Philippines. A venue for the finest of skin arts, this is the one event where acclaimed tattoo artists, enthusiasts, supporters, and even curious first-timers gather to marvel, get inked, compete, and experience skin artistry at its best. Dutdutan 2017 is also the one place and time when age and social status cross boundaries to take pleasure in a very personal and intimate brand of self expression. Taking on a different level each year, Dutdutan 2017 brings in more and more tattoo artists from all over the country and the world. Participants from other countries have taken interest in this extraordinary event and would want to experience tattoo ‘pinoy’ style. Highlights of Dutdutan 2017 include competitions of creativity and innovation among the best tattoo artists in the local scene. Premier inkers battle for prestige in various categories, exhibiting ingenuity and artistic mastery in the field of skin art. ‘Tattoo of the Day’ remains the most coveted award as artists from this category create their entries on the day itself, giving everyone a chance to actually witness a master at work, and how art pieces are created on skin. The expo also displays exceptional pieces done by sought-after tattoo artists, and the various styles and designs one may choose to get inked – all artistically and skillfully done on epidermal canvas. Apart from actual tattooing, booths are also installed to hold anything and everything about tattoo, from simple souvenirs to the more complicated tattoo paraphernalia made available to those who need it, and want to further explore the art. Essentially, Dutdutan 2017 as an event initiates the evolution and elevation of tattoo as an art form – one of the many ways of self-expression that has long been regarded as taboo, as it always appealed to the rebel crowd and the unconventional. But now, tattoos are considered to be a mainstream art, as more celebrities started having them. Famous personalities, not just the obscure, were not only getting tattoos, but were displaying them proudly. Suddenly, the status of body art had dramatically improved and its stigma was fading fast. During this period of evolution, scores of true body art supporters have come out and showed pride in their tattoos. And now we have a community of strong and loyal tattoo enthusiasts that will see body art through its evolution at every stage. This is exactly what makes each Dutdutan 2017 event one hell of a joyride.
